Seek out a quiet moment…

Next week is Global Week of Prayer and Churches Together in Verwood is holding a special event for Verwood this coming Saturday at the United Reformed Church.

We think living here in Verwood is a complete blessing and there’ll be opportunities to reflect upon all the groups and organisations that make the town the wonderful place it is, as well as the challenges our wider world is facing.

Everyone is welcome to call into the URC (next to the Library) during the day and join in - in whatever way feels right for you.

So if you want to find a quiet space to think, reflect, pray or even just to find a moment of calm after a busy week, you will be very welcome.

VURC’s regular Coffee4All will be running until noon (proceeds towards chosen charities) and the Church will remain open until 4pm.

Rustic Fayre beckons! Come and visit the local Churches in our marquee!

(Please note that sadly, due to ill health, the Puppets will no longer be performing). But there’s plenty more going on….. children’s activities, live music, free teas and coffees. See you there!

Tomorrow…..! Free arts and crafts morning for accompanied kids!

All are welcome to this free activity tomorrow morning.

Come along to colour, stick, cut, collage and create! Bring a flat pebble to paint and decorate (paint provided) if you’d like to.

Light refreshments available to buy during the morning (cash only please). Proceeds towards further community activities.

Community Coffee Morning with informal games this Saturday!

You are welcome to pop in to Coffee 4All between 10 and 11.30 every Saturday morning at the United Reformed Church (next to the Library).There’s great coffee, home made scones and cakes and a very warm welcome awaits you!
Once a month we try something new and this month on Saturday 20th June we’re organising an informal games morning with jigsaws, board games and - if the weather’s kind to us- some garden games too!
Activities are free and proceeds from sale of coffee and cakes go towards putting on more community coffee mornings throughout the coming year.
Come along and join in on 20th June (but don’t forget, the kettle’s on every Saturday morning ☕️❤️

Join us for a morning of chat and coffee and enjoy completing a series of table-based quizzes. Enter in teams of 4-6 by emailing us; £1 per person entry fee.
Proceeds to go towards further monthly community events and donations to support our chosen charities will be welcome.
