Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary 📿

Today we joyfully celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary — our Mother, our intercessor, and the gentle guide who always leads us closer to her Son, Jesus 🙏🏼📿

Through the beautiful prayer of the Rosary, we place our lives, our families and our intentions into Mary’s loving hands. As we meditate upon the mysteries of Christ’s life, Mary teaches us to pause, to listen, and to draw nearer to the heart of her Son ❤️

The Rosary has long been a prayer of hope and trust, especially in times of difficulty. On this feast day, let us once again take up our beads and turn to Our Blessed Mother, asking her to intercede for us and for a world so greatly in need of peace.

As Pope Leo XIII reminded the faithful: “It has always been the habit of Catholics in danger and in troublous times to fly for refuge to Mary.”

Today, let us take up our Rosaries and entrust our families, our communities and our world to Our Lady.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us. 🌹📿

Happy 209th birthday to St Marie Eugénie! 🎉

Anne Eugénie Milleret de Brou was born on 26 August 1817 in Metz, France. Twenty-two years later, she founded the Congregation of the Religious of the Assumption.

Today, we give thanks to God for her life, her vision and her spirit, and for the mission she entrusted to us, her Assumption family, to continue.

A special day to remember and give thanks for the life of St Marie Eugénie and all that she began💜

🌿 The Feast of the Assumption of Mary 🌿

Today we celebrate with great joy the Feast of the Assumption of Mary — a mystery at the heart of our identity and vocation as the Religious and friends of the Assumption.

The mystery of the Assumption is not simply about explaining how Mary’s passage to the fullness of God took place. It invites us to contemplate its meaning for our own lives.

“The mystery of the Assumption is our final destiny and the beacon that shows us the way.”

Mary, our companion on the journey, teaches us to rise above what is not essential, to transform our old habits and useless paradigms, and to place our thoughts and affections in God.

The Assumption challenges and inspires us to joy and hope. Mary already lives what each of us pursues throughout our existence: fullness and happiness shared with all in God.

On this feast, may Mary help us live processes of conversion, transformation, and humanisation, becoming ever more a “faithful image of Christ” and witnesses of hope, peace, and life in our world.

🙏 Happy Feast of the Assumption!
