Sometimes, a change of pace is all we need.

Our first Sip & Paint brought together creativity, calm and the company of lovely sisters. A few hours away from the usual busyness, doing something just for the joy of it.

Alhamdulillah for mornings like these.

Sunshine streaming through the windows, paintbrushes in hand, leaves on the table and a room full of lovely women enjoying a slower morning together.

Alhamdulillah, our first session was everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you to every sister who joined us and made it so special. 🤎

A beautiful reminder, created by little hands. 🤍

Our Tafsir students have been exploring the meanings and lessons of Surah Al-‘Asr through their very own posters.

A short surah, yet a powerful reminder of the value of time, faith, righteous deeds, and encouraging one another towards truth and patience.

May Allah ﷻ allow the Qur’an to take root in their hearts, shape their character, and remain their companion throughout their lives. Ameen

At Hikam Academy, we pray that our children don’t just learn the words of the Qur’an, but grow to understand, love and live by its message.

Today’s session was about so much more than arts and crafts. 🍂🎨

We began by slowing down and looking closely at something so simple that we can easily overlook: a leaf.

We talked about the different colours, shapes, patterns and textures, and how even something as small as a leaf carries signs of Allah’s incredible creation. We reflected on how Allah creates such beauty and variety, and how the things around us can remind us of Him when we take the time to notice.

The children then brought that inspiration into their own creativity: painting leaf canvases and making their own little apple crumbles. 🍁

It was lovely to see them get involved, share their ideas and create something completely their own.

We hope our sessions are not only a space for children to have fun and explore their creativity, but also a place where they can learn to pause, observe the world around them and recognise the signs of our Creator, Allah within it.

A little glimpse into today’s arts & crafts session 🍂🎨

We began by taking a closer look at the leaves around us; their different shapes, colours and details and reflecting on the beauty and creativity in Allah’s creation.

The children then got busy creating their own leaf canvases and making mini apple crumbles. There was plenty of creativity, laughter and some very proud little artists by the end!

A lovely afternoon of creating, reflecting and appreciating the beauty Allah has placed around us. 🤎

Alhamdulillah for a beautiful session and more so for a beautiful community 💜

We had great time today painting vases and layering our own yummy parfaits! The table was a total zone of chaotic creativity. It was so much fun watching them get super serious about their brushstrokes one minute, and then pile on a mountain of strawberries the next. Sweet treats, messy hands and lots of games, definitely the perfect kind of Sunday morning!

Alhamdulillah, it was so lovely to see so many of our students and families come together for our Hikam Academy Eid Party! 🎉

We enjoyed a colouring competition, celebrated our Tafsir class students with awards and certificates and of course had fun with pass the parcel.

Moments like these remind us that Hikam Academy is more than just classes, it’s a community where friendships are built, achievements are celebrated and memories are made together.

May Allah continue to unite our hearts upon goodness and bless all of our students and their families. Ameen.

JazakAllahu khayran to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We can’t wait to see you all again soon, in sha Allah! 🌿

Watching our students’ faces light up as they learn about the courage of Prophet Musa (AS). 🌊✨ From the tiny basket on the Nile to the parting of the sea, his story teaches our little ones that with Allah by your side, no obstacle is too big. Our Saturday mornings are officially full of wonder! What a beautiful way to learn our Deen. Special Jazakallahu Khair to Ustadah Umm Ayyub for such engaging lessons!

What a “bee-utiful” day we had at Hikam Arts and Crafts! Our little busy bees had an absolute blast buzzing through our Nahl and Honey Bee workshop, where we explored the miracles of Allah’s creation through art and play. The energy was electric as the kids aced our Bee and Nahl quizzes, showing off some serious knowledge before diving into their canvas paintings to create some truly “un-bee-lievable” masterpieces. We made sure to keep things sweet with a delicious local honey parfait bar and warm cups of honey & thyme tea that were a total hit! It was a joy to see so many smiles and so much creativity as we learned about the tiny heroes mentioned in the Quran. Jazakallahu Khair to Ustadha Umm Sidra for such detailed ex*****on and fantastic sessions! Jazakallahu Khair to everyone who joined our hive and made the day so special; we’re already planning of our next sticky, sweet adventure! 🐝🍯✨ Stay tuned!
