We are very lucky at TPC to have some beautiful stained glass windows and it is always a joy when people take interest in them. Tim Richards, a local historian with the Dunbar Historical Society is doing a lecture on stained glass in East Lothian Churches From an Art History Perspective where our windows are to feature. All are very welcome, details below.

Tuesday 8 September 7:30pm

Tickets available from (£2 on the door, free to DHS members):

Tim Richards is a stained-glass maker using traditional techniques with lead and glass, unchanged since medieval times. In this talk he will share the results of his travels to view and photograph windows in over 25 churches in East Lothian. Rather than focusing on their religious context, or on who they were dedicated to, he’ll be talking about the artists who designed and made them, from James Ballantine in the 1880s to local artist Kate Henderson in the 21st Century
