Here is the list of services for February and March 2026

Please note that from Sunday 1st March we will be changing our servcice start time from 10.15am to 11.00am

On Sunday, 14th December, there will be a service of Lessons and Carols starting at 3.00pm and on Friday 19th December the St Ives Bay Community Choir will be giving a Christmas Concert in the church starting at 7pm. Our Christmas festivities will continue on Christmas Eve with a Crib service at 4.00 pm and, on Christmas Day, a service of holy communion will begin at 10.15 am. All are welcome to our church for our Christmas Celebrations.

On Saturday 25th October David Billingham will be giving a talk at Towednack Church on “A History of Simpsons of Penzance”. David has worked at Simpsons for many years and is the store’s longest serving employee. Starting at 2.30 pm the talk promises to be very interesting. Refreshments will be served and there will be a retiring collection for Church funds.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING
Our Harvest thanksgiving service will begin at 11am when we will welcome the Archdeacon of Cornwall the Venerable Clive Hogger who will lead our Holy Communion service. Harvest Lunch with pasties will be served afterwards. ALL ARE WELCOME

Services for August and September 2025

The Rt. Rev David Williams, Bishop of Truro, will be visiting Towednack Church for the first time on the morning of Thursday 7th August. We extend an invitation to all parishioners and friends of Towednack to join us at church on the 7th August to welcome the Bishop and his wife. We expect them to arrive at 10 am and spend some time with us before continuing their “road trip” to their next stop at Zennor church. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
