It's Choral Evensong week and this Sunday 7th June it's at St John's Bridgetown at 6.30pm. It's also the service when we say thank you and good luck to Diana Walters who is shortly to be ordained and off to Ipplepen as a curate so there's cake & more afterwards!

Diana sings in the choir so has chosen the music which includes the "Hallelujah Chorus" (to celebrate her new role not her departure!). There will be organ, piano, guitars, flutes, and forty singers including the Junior Choir who have their own song too!

Two important notices: the forthcoming closure of the church for two weeks to finish off some reordering final touches as part of the Uplift! Project, and the other: There will be an ongoing supply of excellent coffee and cake from the Friend's of St. Mary's Cafe despite this - but do note the change of day next week and location the following two:

Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 10-1 at St. Mary's Church
Tue 2nd and 9th June 10-1 at St. Mary's Church Hall (on lane at west end of church)

The cafe will resume as normal after this - please see below.

We look forward to welcoming you to the cafe in the church hall and seeing you in mid June, back in the church.
