A beautiful communion service this evening, 7.30pm, no more than an hour. Come and meet Jesus at the table for his blessing.

A reflective service tomorrow for Good Friday, 10.30am, no more than an hour. Worship and prayer at the foot of the cross.

A resurrection celebration, Easter Sunday morning, 10.30am. The reason for the season.

A community of hope - Project Hope, an afternoon of creativity around the theme of hope, Easter Monday afternoon.

You are most welcome to join us for any of these.

Easter is all about HOPE! So, here at Barton Baptist Church we are hosting a free afternoon for the community to share what gives you hope and what it is you hope for.
3-4.30 pm Easter Monday, 6th April. See you then!

It's really starting to feel like Christmas now......tomorrow it's our All Age Nativity Service at 11.00 - lots of fun and lunch together afterwards. And it's traditional Carols by Candlelight at 6.30pm too..... Everyone is welcome at either or both, we'd love to see you.

Excited for our all-age nativity this coming Sunday at 11am! Christmassy buffet afterwards for everyone - you're invited! Come dressed as a character from the nativity (if you want to) It will be relaxed, fun and interactive - little ones welcome.

We would love to invite you, or any parents you know, to a couple of workshops held upstairs at Barton Baptist. There's a creche if you have pre-schoolers and refreshments for everyone. You would be so welcome to come and share your wisdom and tips and hear some others too! Please let me know if you are coming or would like more details!

Here comes our summer play day! Friday 8th August - play session for babies, toddlers & pre-schoolers in our main hall. Crafts & activities for primary-school-age children in the room next door. It's all FREE! But you do need to book - use the link below.
Bring a picnic and we'll eat lunch together at the end.

David Burtt and his team of professional worship leaders are teaming up with us to run a guitar camp for anyone interested in using music as part of worship at church 🎶. If you’d like to learn to play the guitar 🎸 and can make all three evening sessions (6pm - 8.30/9pm) - Sunday 6th, Monday 7th, and Tuesday 8th July - we’d love you to sign up! No guitar? No problem - a number of free guitars will be available for participants.

This event is open to everyone - you don’t need to attend our church to come along.

Look what we did on Saturday at Alive! Daniel and the Lions with a load of sock puppet lions and toy lions and some very impressive roaring. The message was less "Lions are scary" and more "God will be with me" and thank you God for that. We'll be back in July - see you then!😁

Evening lovely church, I have some sad news. We were all looking forward to Jez preaching on Sunday but he is poorly and won't be able to make it. I didn't think I should ask someone else with only a couple of days to prepare so I will send a video of me preaching for you which is a poor second best to Jez but the best that we can do! Beth is leading and will be fab so all shall be well. Much love to Jez.
