The Prayer for the Week
God, thank you for forgiving me my many sins: past, present, and future. Let me see others with your eyes of mercy. Help me Lord, I wish to set aside all my grudges, anger, coldness and resentment against others. Take them all at once from my heart or take them one by one. I come to you for salvation. Amen.

Lord, as your Spirit is present with me, it is present even more in your Church which is your Body. Give me small things to do today. Let God be glorified in the small things I do. Thank you for giving my life holy purpose. Amen.

Lord, command me to come to you on the water of faith. Hold me up as I pray for those you have given me. Let me see you in all my work and challenges today, Lord. Let me trust you to see me through it all. I thank you dear Lord and I love you. Amen.

Sometimes I am discouraged by my difficulties, Lord, but I rejoice to possess your treasure, the pearl of the greatest value, yourself. Keep my eyes on you, Jesus. I pray for those I know who labour under difficulties; keep me in prayer all day, dear Jesus. Amen.

Double celebrations today!

Today was our 86th anniversary of the consecration and dedication of the church 1940-2026 and also Fr McDowall’s 60th anniversary of his ordination to the sacred Priesthood.
