🌾🍂 Harvest Thanksgiving – 176kg of Kindness! 🍂🌾

What a wonderful Harvest celebration at St David's Church, Tonyrefail! ❤️

We are delighted to share that our Harvest collection raised an incredible 176kg of food for Taff-Ely Foodbank! 🥫🙌

That's 176kg of generosity, kindness and community spirit, all helping to support local individuals and families facing difficult times.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, helped organise, carried bags, sorted donations or contributed in any way. Every single tin, packet and bag makes a difference. 💚

We would also like to say a special thank you to Taff-Ely Foodbank for joining us and delivering their talks during our Harvest celebrations. It was lovely to hear more about the important work they do in our local communities and the difference that everyone's generosity makes.

🎨🌻 Harvest Competition

A massive thank you to YGG Tonyrefail and Tref-y-Rhyg for their wonderful entries into our Harvest competition! We really appreciate the time, creativity and effort that went into taking part.

An extra special thank you to YGG Tonyrefail for joining us and singing so beautifully during our Harvest celebrations. It was a lovely addition to the occasion, and we really appreciated you sharing your talents with us! 🎶❤️

A special thank you also goes to our judges for giving their time to help judge the entries.

We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and generous community. Your kindness and support really do make a difference!

Together, we're making a difference, one donation at a time. 💚

Tonight at 7pm, we join families across the world in lighting a candle to remember the precious little lives that were taken far too soon. 💗💙

For the babies we held in our arms, the babies we held only in our hearts, and the babies we never got the chance to meet.

Every life matters. Every loss matters. Every baby deserves to be remembered.

To every parent, grandparent, sibling and family carrying a love that never fades, you are not alone.

Tonight, we light a candle for you. 🕯️

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered. 🤍

🏃‍♀️💚 Cardiff Half Marathon Fundraiser 💚🏃‍♀️

Next Sunday, our very own Charmaine will be taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon — all 13.1 miles! — to raise money for Taff-Ely Foodbank.

Charmaine works for Taff-Ely Foodbank as their Support Manager, supporting people across our local communities who are facing hardship and helping them access additional support when they need it.

Her name is officially on the runners’ wall and race day is getting very real! 🙌

She’s hoping to raise £500 for the Foodbank, so if you’re able to sponsor her — even just a few pounds — every donation will help support the work they do locally. 💚

If you’re unable to donate, sharing the fundraiser would be a huge help too.

You can support Charmaine here 👇
https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/cardiff-half-in-aid-of-taff-ely-foodbank

We’ll all be cheering you on, Charmaine! 🏃‍♀️💚
