It's September, which means the kids are back in school, routine has restarted, and everything's getting back to 'normal'. 🫠🫣

Our summer in Trebanog has been CLASS!! We were outdoors for the whole summer and loved every second of it! 🙌

But now we're back indoors, and back to....
HOPE KIDS on Sundays!!! 🥳🥳🥳

This term we're looking at PRAYER 🙏

And we'd love to invite your kids (and you!✌️) to join us at our gathering at 10:30am (10am for breakfast!)

And the GREAT NEWS is ALL of our Hope Church Rhondda gatherings have HOPE KIDS 🙌 That means if you go to Tonypandy at 4pm, or Ynyswen at 4pm there's also Hope Kids running!! 👏👏👏

Some people think Church is just for old people! 🙅‍♀️🚫 WRONG! Church is for all ages!! 💃🕺 Kids, teens, young adults, 'proper' grown ups 🫠🫣 'old' people.

On Thursdays in Trebanog, Jon the pastor is available to chat to anyone who maybe needs some advice, support or prayer.

He's not a priest, so you don't have to confess your sins ✌️ (unless you want to 🤷🏻‍♀️) but he is a pastor. And a pastor is a shepherd - someone who seeks to lead, guide, and care for the 'flock'.

You don't have to be part of Hope Church, or even a Christian to come for a chat.

So if you are in or around the Trebanog area, and you need some guidance, care or prayer, Jon would be happy to help 🥰

On Sunday, the Upper Rhondda crew didn’t have a typical Sunday Service. Why? Because we went to the beach! 🏖️

It was so lush to spend some time with our church family.

Church isn’t a building, it’s the people. It’s the people who love and honour God, together.

Jesus says “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” in Matthew 18:20. How lush is that!? 🙌

But we are back in our Upper Rhondda location, this Sunday at 4pm. Come join us! We’d love to see you there! 🫶

The Bible never pretends suffering isn’t real. God sees grief. He sees tears. He sees pain.

But this verse reminds us that sorrow does not have the final word.

God is able to bring joy where there was mourning. Hope where there was despair. Life where things felt dead.

That doesn’t always mean our circumstances instantly change. But when God meets someone, he changes them from the inside out. At Hope Church Rhondda, we believe this is exactly what Jesus came to do - to rescue and restore broken people.

Nobody is beyond God’s ability to transform.

He still turns wailing into dancing.
