This morning two of us did a prayer walk in Newton and this time our prayers came from conversations with 6 different groups of people. We prayed for physical healing, a greater working together between different groups in the village, a sense of God with us in difficult times and better sleep. We also prayed for God’s blessing on all those living and working in Newton 🙏

Today 2 of us prayed for the village of Skelton. For the toddler group, the school, the shop, Footgolf, the garden centre and all businesses. We had a sense of God’s love for each person. We also prayed for a deeper sense of unity and a sharing of community.

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:14

Today I started my Prayer time in Shipton in assembly at FOG. We celebrated God’s love for all people of the world at Pentecost when many heard about God’s love in their own language. Then I got absolutely drenched as I walked the streets and to the wildflower meadow! As I prayed I was struck that although villages change, God’s love remains for all people.

May you be ‘rooted and grounded in love’ Ephesians 3:17
