Margaret's funeral will be taking place in St Marks church on Friday 25th November at 2.45pm. followed by the committal at Newton Road crematorium at 4.00pm. please continue to hold Margaret, Terry and the family in your prayers.

Margaret Hickinbottom RIP.

Many of you will already know that our dear friend and much-loved Churchwarden Margaret passed away last week.

It is a terrible shock to us all. Margaret was a woman with a smile and welcome for everyone. A faithful soul who had been a member of St Marks congregation since she was a little girl.

As Churchwarden Margaret was always quick to roll her sleeves up and get stuck in, quick with a word of encouragement, so full of energy and bustle. Someone to whom so many of us are indebted. We are going to miss her.

I will let you know the arrangements for Margaret’s funeral when I have them.
