You're very welcome to our services this Sunday, 14th June
At 10.30am in Thurso, our minister, Jerry Taylor, will be preaching from Jesus' parables of the kingdom of heaven in Matthew 13:44-52, with the theme 'Christ, the surpassing Treasure'.
The Castletown service at 12 noon will be taken by Rev Howard Stone. Castletown joined the Thurso & North Coast Free Church family last month.
At 3.00pm in Bettyhill, Jerry will be speaking to the theme 'The way up is the way down', exploring how Jesus' disciples must embrace the Christ of the cross from Mark 9:30-50.
Finally, back in Thurso at 5.30pm, Andrew Barrie will be continuing a series in 'Wilderness lessons for the Christian', this time from Exodus 17:8-16, asking, 'Don't you know there's a war on?'
There is a creche provision for our youngest members at the Thurso morning service. Refreshments are served after our 10.30, 12 noon and 3pm services. All our locations have toilet facilities. DM us if you have any needs you'd like us to seek to meet to help you worship with us.
We seek to pass on to you God's free gift of salvation in Christ for free; here is what God says through His prophet, Isaiah, inviting you to join with Jesus (King David's greater son):
"Come, everyone who thirsts,
come to the waters;
and he who has no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,
and your labour for that which does not satisfy?
Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good,
and delight yourselves in rich food.
Incline your ear, and come to me;
hear, that your soul may live;
and I will make with you an everlasting covenant,
my steadfast, sure love for David."
(Isaiah 55:1-3, ESV Anglicised)
