🌞 Smarties, our stay & play baby & toddler group, is on tomorrow as usual (10:15–11:45)
We've checked the church building today and it's staying lovely and cool with the air conditioning on, so we'll be keeping activities indoors and adapting the session for the weather with some water and ice play.
That said, please use your own judgement about whether to attend. If your little one is unwell, struggling with the heat, or if travelling in the heat would be difficult for you, please do stay at home and keep cool.
If you are coming along, make sure everyone stays well hydrated and avoid leaving children in parked cars, even for a short time. The NHS also advises keeping babies and young children out of direct sun where possible and dressing them in lightweight clothing during hot weather.
For those who do join us, we'll have a cool, welcoming space ready and look forward to seeing you💙
