Hi everyone! Just a reminder that TOMORROW, Sunday 12th April, is our Warm Welcome meal at Tebay Chapel (moved to tomorrow as the first Sunday this month was Easter Day). This will be our LAST Warm Welcome meal until the Autumn.

Everyone is welcome to come along and feel free to contribute a tasty dessert if you like!! Bring your friends and neighbours! Hope to see you 🙂

12.30pm start. FREE hot meal. Space open till 4pm for games, crafts, drinks, etc.

Just to clarify and say that anyone who knew Ronnie Elliott, is very welcome to come on Tuesday to the short service at Eden Valley Crematorium, Temple Sowerby, at 11am, as well as to the church service at St James Church at 1230. But we also fully understand if easier for local folk to only come to the church. Just want to be sure that people know the option is there, and either way is absolutely fine. And all welcome for refreshments afterwards in the Tebay Club. Thank you.

Funeral notice for the late Veronica Elliott of Orton.

ELLIOTT - Peacefully at The Old Rectory Nursing Home, Grappenhall, near Warrington, on Saturday 31st January, Veronica (Ronnie), of Orton. Aged 79 Years. Wife of the late Ian, Mother of Michael, Peter, Simon, & Louise, Granny of Benjamin, Nathaniel, Amy, Joshua, Lucy, Matthew & Grace, Sister of Tony, Nick & Ros. A short service of commendation and committal will take place at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday 17th February at 11am, followed by a service of Celebration for Ronnie's life at St James Church, Tebay on the same day at 12.30pm. Family flowers only are requested, but donations in memory of Ronnie will be divided between The Northern Centre for Cancer Care - North Cumbria (Carlisle) and St. James’ Church Tebay (Any cheques payable directly to the charities) and can be left at the service or sent c/o Walkers Funeral Directors, Chapel Street, Appleby in Westmorland, CA16 6QR.
