We had a great time today at Forest Church exploring light and colour. We found lots of things in nature across all the colours of the rainbow and looked at how light is made of different coloured wavelengths using a prism. We also enjoyed hot chocolate and cake and discussed light and colour in the Bible, from creation, to Noah, Jesus and all the colours of heaven in Revelation. We also talked about how God wants us to have life that full of joy and colour, just like creation!

Our next session is on Saturday 4th July!

Thank you to everyone who’ve shared images - there is still time before tomorrow’s service if anyone else has any.

This Sunday we will be looking at psalm 23 and Jesus the Good Shepherd. To help with our reflections I am looking for images of people tending and caring for their sheep - if you have an image you are happy to share with us please send it to me on a private message.

Thanks for everyone who braved the weather today for a spot of pond dipping. We were rewarded with lots of Newts and Efts a few Tadpoles as well as Asellus Fresh water shrimp (young and old), Leaches, Flatworms and a Water beetle. We had a great time and finished off with some hot cross buns and talking about the Easter Story and why we have Easter Eggs.

The Good Friday Easter Ascent at Brentor, with a strong following this year despite strong winds and cold showers!
We retold the story of the first Good Friday in costume, climbing to the top of the Tor where we staged the Crucifixion; followed by a quiet reflective service.

There will be a video to follow - it’s being worked on to reduce the wind noise on the audio!
