St Peter's Church, Lyngford, Taunton An exciting and welcoming Anglican church in the Diocese of Bath and Wells.

St Peter’s is a middle sized church with a welcoming congregation whose numbers are steadily growing by reaching out to the community with a wide range of services. We love God and sharing the good news about Him - and we also love food - quite a lot! The Church was originally built to serve a large post war development to the North East of Taunton known as ‘Lyngford’ to parishioners and ‘Priorswood’ to most other locals. We have two main Sunday services: a 9.30am Traditional Communion and a 11.00am Contemporary Service which also includes a monthly Messy Church, which is for all ages. Alongside other mid-week events such as a Brownies, Thursday Youth Drop in, Over 60s and a Thursday Lunch Club (ran by the community centre). We have also started a quiet time for prayer on a Tuesday morning at 9am - a half hour to start our day with God.
