Sometimes a Sunday service together just isn't enough! ☀️

That's why we've got plenty of things going on throughout the week as OGC e.g. growth groups, PRAY, Coffee Bike and Strollers... anddd, this summer, we're also going to be having some post-Sunday service BBQs 🍗🍉 (and a picnic!) on the development.

Excited for more times to enjoy being community together 😊🏡

Jon, our vicar, has recently led two for couples from Orchard Grove development - huge congrats to these guys again, and we continue to pray for them as they start their newlywed journey 💍🏡

Volunteer roles vs Actual daytime jobs… 💚

These pics were early days, with mostly just the planting team - as the church has grown, we now have 35+ people helping on Sundays or throughout weekday activities! 🤩💪

Oh trusty cardboard box crafts… 👏👏

As some of our kids team are away on a training day today, we thought it a good time to update you on a bit of our children’s ministry…

On Sundays, we do a mix of following the main sermon series and venturing off into other bits of the Bible 🤲📖

As the adults currently focus on the journey from Easter to Pentecost, the kids are looking at the book of Nehemiah… and ‘rebuilding the Jerusalem wall’ went down an absolute treat last week! 🌟

Changes to our Monday community activities for all upcoming Bank Holidays in May:

🛺 No Strollers parent & toddler group BUT there will be an informal meet up & buggy walk from Coffee Well 10.30am

☕️ Coffee Well open at same place (bottom of Egremont St) BUT shorter hours 9-11am

Do you know that as a fairly new church plant, OGC currently only has one paid member of staff? The rest are volunteers! 💚 i.e. amazing people who give up time and effort towards God’s kingdom work on this development.

As a small thank you and recognition of this, we’re hosting a dinner in a few weeks for those who serve church in any capacity 🕺💃
