Jesus watched the wealthy drop large, noisy offerings into the temple treasury. Then a poor widow quietly gave two tiny coins — all she had.
While everyone else saw the amount, Jesus saw the sacrifice, the trust, and the heart behind it.
Heaven measures differently. Earth counts the size of the gift. Jesus looks at what remains attached to your heart.
This story always challenges me: Am I giving out of abundance or out of faith?
What does this mean for you today? Drop a 🙏 or share in the comments.

Last night my wife and I rewatched Amazing Grace — the true story of William Wilberforce and the fight to abolish the slave trade in Britain.
What struck me again was how Wilberforce could see what almost no one else could: that the system was evil, even though it was profitable and culturally accepted. He fought for twenty years, nearly losing his health and his life, going from 300 MPs against him to just 16. He simply would not back down.
Friends, this is the spirit we need in the Church today.
We haven’t fully baptized our culture with the values of the Kingdom. We must speak clearly against what is wrong — whether it’s the destruction of the unborn, the discarding of the elderly, or any injustice against the vulnerable.
True compassion means suffering with those who suffer, not ending their lives when it’s convenient. It means bringing hope into hopeless situations and loving the least, the last, and the lost.
Let’s be Wilberforces in our generation.
What is God stirring in your heart to stand for right now? Share in the comments.

Such a great time at our Conference in Cefn Lea this year! A wonderful time to reflect and regroup - as a church we are so thankful for his kindness and goodness to us in all seasons.

James 1:17 (NIV):
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

An uplifting moment from our Sunday morning service at Living Light Christian Church Taunton as we declare “I Believe” by Phil Wickham! 🙌 This powerful anthem proclaims one salvation in Jesus Christ, freedom through His blood on the cross, victory in the resurrection, and all praise to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — our God has overcome!
A bold declaration of faith that reminds us He is the solid rock we stand on.

Right back in the Garden of Eden, God asks Adam & Eve, “Where are you?”
He already knew.
In Genesis 4, to Cain: “Where is Abel your brother?” He knew that too.
God doesn’t just tell us — He asks questions. Why? Because when we work it out ourselves in the light of His truth, it reaches the state of our hearts and it sticks.
Sometimes I hear Him prompting: “Ben, are you being humble?”
If only we were all a little more humble…
Is it right that you feel that way? Is it right that you think that way? Work it out with Him.
And if you get it wrong — like Jonah — He’ll gently ask again. 🙏
What question is God asking you right now? Drop it in the comments or tag someone who needs this reminder.
