Our Advent Windows countdown has now come to an end, which must mean that Christmas Day has finally arrived! ⭐🥰

Thank you so much to all those of you who have supported our trail this year: Our window (or gate or campervan or driveway!) volunteers who have decorated their windows and told the Nativity story so beautifully, our visitors who have trekked out each night in the wintry weather to follow the story with us, our school staff who have distributed our maps to every pupil, those of you who have interacted with us virtually by liking or sharing our Facebook posts, and all those others of you who have helped in your own special ways. Everyone's input has been absolutely amazing and it is appreciated more than a Facebook post can demonstrate.

Now, on behalf of our parish churches at Creech, Ruishton and Thornfalcon, may we wish you a wonderfully merry Christmas and a joyful and peaceful new year. As we remember and give thanks for the much-needed love, joy, peace and hope that this baby in a manger has brought us, (and using this year's secret puzzle phrase, if you've worked it out)... 'Let's share the light of hope this year' with those around us and beyond. God bless and thanks again 🥰 ###

What a wonderful experience at Vicarage Lane Stables Equestrian for today's Advent 'Window'! 🐴❤️ A beautifully decorated stable gate, complete with a miniature stable scene for today's part of the Nativity story... And such stunning and very friendly horses to meet, pat and feed! Although the manger might have been the traditional method for feeding the animals, it was lovely to have these very well-behaved creatures munching carrots out of our hands! Thank you to all the wonderful ladies we had the pleasure of meeting with their gorgeous horses today and their fantastic efforts 🥰 ###

16th December: "In the stable, there was an ox, a donkey and a manger, from which they fed."
