Happy Easter

“He is not here. He has risen.”

He is risen.
Jesus has triumphed.
Death is defeated.
He is victorious.

The Messiah did exactly what He said He would do.
He died and He rose again — so that anyone who believes in Him can have hope, a future, and eternal life.
That’s how much He loves His people.

Jesus, the Son of God — the only perfect man — lived the life we should’ve lived and died the death we deserved, so that we could truly live.
That alone is worth celebrating.

The resurrection isn’t just something that happened a long time ago.
It changes us now.
It brings hope now.
It brings redemption now.
It brings victory now.

1 Peter 1:3
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

Enjoy your celebrations today.
And as you open your Easter eggs, let them remind you of the new life that’s only found in Jesus — and that the tomb really is empty.
He has risen.

Jesus loves you more than you know.
He died for you, He rose again, and He’s alive today — giving us a hope and a joy worth sharing with the world.

Holy Saturday.

It’s a strange day really.

Jesus is resting in the tomb.
Everyone else is just… waiting.

He’d said He would rise again on the third day.
But imagine being the disciples — anxious, confused, not sure what to do with themselves.
Did they actually believe it would happen?
And the people who pushed for His death — they were probably anxious too.
What if they’d really killed the Messiah?

The tomb was guarded.
Everything was locked down.
And Jesus just rested.

We know what that feels like — the waiting, the questions, the anxiety.
Moments where we’re not sure what God is doing or how things are going to turn out.
Maybe we still have questions.
Maybe we don’t know Jesus yet.

But the same way He rested in the tomb, knowing exactly how it would end, we can rest too.
Because He is the answer.
He wants us to be secure in Him.
And even when it feels quiet, God is still working.

Good Friday.
It’s the day we remember what actually happened to Jesus.

He was mocked.
He was beaten.
He was whipped.
A crown of thorns was shoved onto His head.
He carried a cross up a hill.
He was nailed to it.
And He died.

There’s nothing good about any of that.
It was horrible.
So calling it “good” feels strange.

But it’s good because this was the moment God’s plan came together.
The only perfect person taking on the mess and sin of everyone else.
The only way any of us could be forgiven.

And even while He was hanging there, He was still forgiving people.
Still saving people.
Still showing what the Cross was going to mean for anyone who comes to Him.

His last words were, “It is finished.”
Not “I’m finished.”
It — the work, the burden, the debt — done.

He won.
And because of that, we get to come to Him.
We get to be forgiven.
We get peace.
We get healing.
All because He chose to be the sacrificial Lamb for each and every one of us.
