We shall be opening on Saturday 12th September between 10am and 4pm.

We are celebrating Dr Malachi Blake, who was responsible for the establishment and running of Taunton’s first free hospital in 1812. He worshipped at and was a Trustee of the Chapel, family members are still involved with the Chapel.

As today is a fifth Sunday, some congregation members spent time tidying the front of the Chapel ready for the Heritage Open Day on Saturday 12th September. We will be open 10am to 4pm.

We had our the long straggly grass in our Memorial Garden cut at the weekend, it looks so much better now.
Thanks also the Fran and Matthew for managing to uncover Malachi’s tomb.
The photos are by Rob, the first two shows the length of the grass earlier in the year before everything turned brown.
We are hoping to have a gardening morning in the garden on the 30th August from about 10.30am.
