* 10am - Special Café Church with Back to School Blessing of Bags at St Mary's Church, Church Fenton.
* 10.30am - Holy Communion at St Mary's Tadcaster.
* 10.30am - Morning Prayer at St John the Baptist Kirkby Wharfe & Ulleskelf
* 8.30pm - Night Prayer on 'Zoom'.

We'd love to see you at any of our services this week as we begin a new school and academic year, and step into autumn. All of our morning services will as ever include worship songs or hymns, and other music. Plus refreshments afterwards. There's something for everyone; whatever you're looking for!

This week is the last Sunday of summer, as well as being a '5th Sunday' of the month. So it's a perfect occasion to come together as the whole Tadcaster Benefice. This time, the service is being hosted at St John's, and we'd love to welcome you along!

These joint services are wonderful occasions to come together, and to catch up with people whom you might not see quite as often too. Tea, coffee and nibbles will of course be served afterwards if you'd like to stay to chat over a cuppa.

All of our morning services will include hymns or songs and other music, and refreshments afterwards for people who would like to stay. Whether you're a regular member of the congregation or a first time visitor, we promise you a warm and friendly welcome.

As we continue further into the summer we'd love to have you join us this week at our regular services. All will include hymns or songs, and other music; and at our morning services the chance to catch up over a cuppa and nibbles afterwards if you'd like to stay.

Children are ALWAYS welcome to any of our services, so maybe this is also something else for you to enjoy with them over the summer break? And if you're on holiday in the area yourself, we'd love to welcome you along too!

Following the death of Mr Humphrey Smith, St Mary's Church and the whole of the Tadcaster Benefice extend their sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Our prayers and thoughts remain very much with them at this time, and we hope that they will be given the space and time they need by the community to be able to grieve.

We also hope that all of the residents of Tadcaster and the surrounding area will show the greatest of kindness and respect at this difficult time.

May he rest in peace ✝️

Congratulations to Abi, Michaela, Ian, Julie, and James on their ordination today [in the Methodist Church] at All Saints, Wellington.

We especially look forward to continuing to work with Abi as one of our ecumenical colleagues, as a member of Churches Together in Tadcaster, over the years ahead.✝️
