The Church of the Holy Rood (Church of England) exists to serve all in the local community. We are located on Moorside Road, on the south side of the East Lancashire Road, in Swinton. A wide range of activities for all ages are held throughout the week in Moorside Memorial Hall, next to the church. Our church is open and inclusive in its approach, visitors and newcomers are always welcome. In addi

tion to the regular service times listed we also hold an 8 o'clock service on the first and third Sunday of every month.

The success of our Summer Fair was down to so many people…..

Members of our congregation gave so much of their time and put in great effort to provide such an excellent event.

Members of our community joined us on the day and dug deep in their pockets.

Local businesses generously donated prizes for our main raffle and it’s important that we recognise these companies. So, a huge thank you to….

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Summer Fair on Saturday.

The sun shone and a good time was has by all.

We raised in excess of £1300, which is an amazing amount of money, this will be put to good use maintaining our beautiful church.
