New post up now!

It's been a little while I know, but I don't want to post every day, because it will begin to feel like thats all I do. I want to be genuine with you, and myself, importantly with God, and I can't do that if I post about every day, scraping the bottom of the barrel for lessons I've learned. The truth is, its not every day I learn something 😇

Anyway, this is a lesson I have been learning for a while now.

It's a story about how someone who hurt me, has been given a role, without taking accountability for what they did to me, yet God teaches me that he uses everyone whether they are genuine or not.

We all need a "Gad"!

Now you might be thinking, "what is a Gad?"

Well Gad is less of a what, more of a who. He is the person my latest post is based on.

He was a critical friend to David in 2 Samuel 24. A brave friend who wasn't afraid to be honest when David made a mess of it, and strayed from God.

If it wasn't for this critical friend, David wouldn't have come back to God, back to where he was supposed to be- in the merciful arms of God our Father!

No need to perform, no need to try and "fit in", just grace.🙏🏻

Grief is not just a single moment. Grief is a journey with many echoes, and often, progress is slow.

In my latest journal, I share how even in the depths of my pain, my sorrow, my grief, God is still faithful.
