🌼 No Mow May is coming to an end 🌼

Our Grounds Team will resume mowing across the parish from Monday 1st June following the conclusion of No Mow May. As it takes approximately three weeks to complete a full mowing round, we kindly ask residents to please bear with us during this period while works are carried out. 🚜🌱

This was the Council’s first year taking part in No Mow May, and we have learnt a great deal from the experience. We appreciate everyone’s patience and feedback throughout the month as we continue to balance biodiversity initiatives with maintaining our open spaces for residents to enjoy. πŸ’š

Thank you for your understanding and support.

The Parish Council is aware of the serious incident that occurred on Meadowcroft yesterday.

Our thoughts are with the young person involved and we wish them a full and speedy recovery. We also extend our support to their family, friends, and all those affected by this distressing event.

At times like these, it is important to remember what makes our community strong. We are a community that looks out for one another, supports those in need, and stands together during difficult times.

We want Meadowcroft and our wider community to remain places where people feel safe, respected, and valued.

We encourage everyone to continue showing kindness, respect, and consideration towards one another. By working together, we can help ensure our parish remains a welcoming and safe place for all.

We will be working with authorities to support in any way we can.

Thank you to those who continue to support one another and help strengthen our community.
