It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Farazana Begum (Oxford Road), beloved mother of Nasar Ibrahim, mother-in-law of Muneer Choudhary, and grandmother of Atiff and Addil Ghafar.

We kindly request everyone to make dua for the Marhooma and for the family, asking Allah ﷻ to grant her Jannatul Firdaus and give the family Sabr-e-Jameel during this difficult time.

*Janaza announcement*

The Janazah prayer for our beloved *brother Imran Khan*
to take place inshaAllah on *Wednesday 17th June 2026* at Swindon Jamia Masjid, Broad Street, Swindon, SN1 2DR, as follows:

- Zohar prayer: 1:30pm
- Janazah prayer: Immediately after.
- Burial at Kingsdown Cemetery.

Cemetery address :Kingsdown Rd, Swindon SN25 6SG

For any ladies/sisters wishing to pay their final respects will be from 12pm onwards.

Important parking and access notice:
Please do not block any of the entrances to Swindon Masjid as we need to proceed to the cemetery immediately after the Janazah.

We kindly request that all attendees park in a manner to avoid parking on double yellow lines, as this causes difficulties for pedestrians and other road users.

May Allah (SWT) forgive our Brother Imran Khan grant him the highest ranks in Jannatul Firdaus, and give patience and strength to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Ameen.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Imran Khan, son of Haji Abdul Qayyum(Sadiq Khan) and brother of Irfan Khan, from Ferndale Road has passed away today morning.

May Allah ﷻ forgive him, grant him the highest ranks in Jannah, and give sabr to his family and loved ones. Ameen.

The Janazah prayer for our beloved sister Hassina Naqshabandi will take place on Friday, 5th June 2026 at Al Habib Islamic Centre, Chapel Street, Swindon, SN2 8DA.

- Jumu'ah prayer: 1:30pm
- Janazah prayer: Immediately after Jumu'ah aprrox 2pm
- Burial at Kingsdown Cemetery approx 2:15pm

For any ladies/sisters wishing to pay their final respects to Sister Hassina Naqshabandi, this can be done at Al Habib Islamic Centre between 11:30am and 12:30pm.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sister Hasina Naqshabndi, beloved mother of Yasin, Bilal and Sharifa Watson, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings, grant her the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus, and bless her grave with light and peace. May He also grant sabr, strength, and comfort to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Sister Hasina was a remarkable lady—always cheerful, kind-hearted, and dedicated to helping others. She devoted much of her time to charitable work in Africa and touched the lives of many through her generosity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to serving those in need.

Janazah details will be announced as soon as they become available.

Please remember Sister Hasina and her family in your duas. May Allah (SWT) reward her for her good deeds and reunite her with her loved ones in Jannah.

*Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuhu*

With a heavy heart but complete submission to the decree of Allah, we inform you of the janazah details for Haji Khan Ahmad Nawaz, father of Mushtaq, Ashfaq and Sabbaq Nawaz and beloved grandfather of Nasir, Qasim and Abas Nawaz.

The janazah will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 27th May 2026 at Al-Habib Islamic Centre, Chapel Street, Swindon, SN2 8DA.

For anyone wishing to spend a final moment and pay their respects to Haji Khan Ahmad Nawaz you can do so before the janazah because time and space will be limited.

- 12:30pm - Ladies only
- ⁠1pm - Men only
- ⁠1:30pm - Zuhur namaz
- ⁠Janazah and speeches

Once the Janazah has concluded we will be leaving promptly for the burial.

Cemetery Address: Kingsdown Cemetery, Kingston Road, SN25 6SG

We are expecting a large number of people and request car sharing where possible please, making use of local car parks. Please be mindful not to block the masjid entrance and exit.

Food will be available after the burial. We kindly request that those who have travelled eat prior to their departure home.

We pray that Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala forgives his shortcomings, expands and shines a light in his grave and grants the Marhoom an elevated status in the highest ranks of Jannat al-Firdous. Ameen.
