We, as Swansea Interfaith Forum wish to express our solidarity with the Jewish community across the UK following the recent knife attacks in London.
We are profoundly saddened by these acts of violence and extend our heartfelt support to all those affected, including the victims, their families, and the wider community.

You are not alone.

We remain steadfast in our belief that our diversity is a strength, and that dialogue, understanding, and compassion must always prevail over fear, hate, prejudice and division.

Swansea Quakers hosted a Peace Vigil in their Meeting House garden on Saturday, 11th April. 25 gathered from across church communities in Swansea, including 8 Quakers, to make a silent plea for peace. We received positive support from passers-by, including applause and car horn tooting most frequently."

Day 1 of Inter Faith Week: Remembering Together

Today, as Inter Faith Week begins, we join the nation on Remembrance Sunday to pause, reflect, and honour the service and sacrifice of all those who have given their lives in conflict.

Remembrance is a powerful act that unites us. It is a time to commemorate the contributions of service people of all faiths and none in securing the peace and freedoms we hold dear.

This Sunday is a vital reminder of our shared responsibility to look forward and work together to build a just, peaceful, and harmonious world.

Join us this week as we celebrate the connections between different faiths and beliefs!

We express our sadness at the recent attacks at religious places of worship in Manchester and Grand Blanc, Michigan this week.
Our hearts go out to those who are grieving and living now in greater fear.
There is no violence that is justifiable in the name of religion. All people of Faith must be able to worship according to the dictates of their own conscience.

We stand with you and pray over your loss and for your peace and freedom from all forms of prejudice
