A wide range of Christians worship at the church and are involved in our many additional activities. The community is 120 strong, and has many associations and friendships within the local village communities as well as Swansea and the wider South Wales Christian community. In addition to its core Christian worship, St.Teilo's reaches deep into the heart of the community with the unique 'Lamplight

er' coffee shop on the Bishopston Road, which offers a friendly environment and a range of giftware including Fairtrade Goods. The Church Hall, situated on The Glebe, runs many events including the very cool Community Cinema, and rents space to local activity groups. Our Choir is small and beautifully proportioned, with an abundance of talent, so that our family services are a delight for music lovers. We also have several groups attached to the church, PRISM for mostly men to get together over a meal, once a month. The joint youth group with Murton Methodist church. The wonderful Mothers Union, mostly for ladies. And not forgetting the Triple F, who create a wonderful stream of entertainments throughout the year. When you come to our church you will be greeted at the door, offered a seat and given an order of service, following our services we like to offer all of our guests light refreshments and spend some time having a chat. bay .stteilo.net

A space for ANYONE to pause, rest, and renew through listening to our inner voice, seeking direction from the Spirit, and being inspired through creative exercises in the beauty of the Gower peninsula. Simply come as you are. Whether you lead a team, sit in the pews, or are just looking for a moment of peace, these retreats are for you. Join us as we connect and refresh our minds, bodies, and spirits.

Many people come to Gower to get away from their regular lives and find moments of peace. The whole area is a National Landscape of outstanding natural beauty offering a space to immerse yourself and rest in His presence without pressure or expectation.

We have sixteen medieval churches that you can use as a base for your retreat, situated on cliffs, farms, by beaches, in woods, and along the marsh. Port Eynon functions as a Sanctuary Church with options to book basic accommodation. There is also the invitation to receive prayer and pastoral support from local clergy and the Wellbeing Chaplain, offering care, listening, and encouragement for the journey.

Chloe Thomas - Artist

Chloe is our very own Creative Practitioner at WoW. Chloe is a qualified Arts, Health and Wellbeing practitioner and a collage artist.

Much of Chloe’s work is inspired by her deep love & connection to the Gower Peninsula and the natural world. This love of Gower comes from her family roots, with generations linked back to Hunts Farm in Pennard. Her collage artworks often evoke landscapes that feel familiar at first glance, but on closer inspection reveal carefully combined elements drawn from different places she is intuitively drawn to. These visual layers are complemented by poetic words, inviting the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect.

Come and see Chloe's artwork at the 'New Beginnings' Exhibition

Peter Lewis - Ceramics

Say Hello to Peter - a ceramicist whose work is rooted in ecology and an enduring curiosity about overlooked natural processes. Trained in tropical ecology with a focus on rainforest fungi, he now draws inspiration from local decomposers on Gower, shaping stoneware forms that echo twigs, branches, and fungal decay. Using earthy glazes and oxides, his work finds beauty in what is usually hidden or ignored an influence traceable to formative visits to the botanical displays at Cardiff Museum.

For this exhibition, Pete shifts his focus to the seashore, using shells as a starting point to explore pollution and human impact on coastal environments.
