Yesterday was a joyful celebration of Pentecost here in Swansea!
Our morning meeting saw the dedication of baby Ava. What a privilege to welcome Ava and to pray for her parents, Abigail and Miz, and Godparents, Emily and Jack! We also said a fond farewell to Ieuan, who is heading to the USA for three months to serve at The Salvation Army's Camp Daley, and to George, who is returning to missionary service in Brazil. Ieuan shared with us how the story of Pentecost in Acts 2 has spoken to him in these days of preparation.
In the afternoon, we were delighted to welcome musicians from Renaissance Brass, who delivered a festival of music, poetry and song for Pentecost. The soloists were outstanding, while our own Songsters contributed two fabulous items which were very warmly received by a capacity crowd.
We thank God for all he is doing through his Spirit at work here in Swansea!
