Back in June, we joined up with Swansea Minster to run a week of reflection stations to support Year 6 pupils to reflect on their time at primary school and look ahead to their transition to secondary school, with one teacher saying that it was a “truly inspirational and meaningful experience for both pupils and staff.’ Watch the video to get a feel for what the week was like.

Do you have a child in year 6 who is preparing to move up into secondary school? We know that this transition can be hard for some students, so we want to see if we can help! Next week we're holding a transition week with some Swansea primary schools visiting with their students. However, this is only a drop in the ocean, so if your child is in year 6 and has any concerns about the move up, we'd love you to bring them along!

Working with the amazing guys at Linden Church, we're going to have a series of stations set up helping children to celebrate what has come before, explore how they're feeling now, and looking forward to the future. We're keeping the church open on Wednesday after school for you to drop in and spend some time on the journey. No need to book, just pop in after school on Wednesday, we'll be open until 5pm. Our Sunday morning church meeting is on Zoom this week while we carry out some essential maintenance at the building. Get in touch if you'd like a link. We'll be back to normal next week with our meeting on Good Friday at 10am and 10.30am on Easter Sunday. Everyone is welcome.

We have another fantastic opportunity to support parents coming up in Linden Church and Wellbeing Hub This free workshop is for parents who want to better understand ADHD, autism and neurodivergence whether your child has a diagnosis or you just want to find out more. it is being facilitated by Siwan Etheridge, a Neurodevelopmental Specialist and Speech and Language Therapist with 16+ years’ experience across health and education. We had a brilliant St Davids Community meal last week with wonderful singing by children from Ysgol Gymraeg Llwynderw and also enjoyed a visit from Sioned Williams AS/MS. She loved seeing the impact projects like ours have in local communities. 🥰

Keep the St Davids celebrations going by coming to our March free community meal in Church this Thursday. We'll have delicious Cawl and a local school choir coming to sing.
