Last night we held our presentation evening to celebrate the achievements of our young people over the year. Congratulations to everyone on their awards. Especially to our Endeavour award winners this year, Lolah Williams and Molly Jones; and our shield winners Charlotte Bunting, Harper Edwards and Sophie Norton. Our leader Rachel is moving on but we will be back in September. Have a lovely summer!

One of the highlights of the year for our members is our summer residential. This year Company went to Unite, the Boys Brigade national camp, and Juniors have just come back from a weekend at Spree. Both groups were able to join up with larger groups of young people, giving them more freedom and the opportunity to try new things. Everyone (leaders included) comes home tired, smelly, but happy!

It's with great sadness that we have decided to close our Anchors section for the time being. After launching in 2017 we've had nearly 9 amazing years full of fun and adventures. Our youngest children have been on multiple trips, learned new skills and created some masterpieces in their time! Sadly we've had dwindling numbers in recent years leading to the decision as it has become more challenging to run the exciting programme we enjoy. We've seen 100s of children coming through Anchors in the years we've been open, and some of our current Juniors and Company members have been with us since they were Anchors themselves, which we love. Here are some of the memories we have to look back on since we opened. Thank you to all the children and parents who have joined and supported us over the years.
