St Barnabas Annual Thanksgiving Service
Sunday, 1st November 2026 at 5pm ✨
We never forget our loved ones when they die but sometimes it’s important to remember them formally and to mark their loss in a special service. This we do every year at St Barnabas. We say prayers, light candles and sing hymns, reminding ourselves that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
You are warmly invited to attend this service and come for tea and cake beforehand at 4pm. You don’t have to book but it will help us to know how many are coming for catering purposes.
You can do this by emailing [email protected] or by adding your name to the clipboard list that will be at the back of church until Friday 31st October. We also need to know the names of those you would like to be remembered. It doesn’t matter where they lived or where the funeral took place.
We are sending personal invitations to those who have lost loved ones in the last two years and had a service on our Register, but anybody is welcome to attend. We look forward to welcoming you, your family and friends.
