Our service on Sunday 25 Jan included a chance to show our appreciation for the long service of Graham Warburton as a member of the Salvation Army. After many years, Graham has recently retired from selling the War Cry magazine outside Corbens Estate Agency. Divisional Area Officer Major Denise Cooper presented him with a long-service certificate and Swanage Town Mayer Cllr Mike Bonfield, John Corben from Corbens Estate Agency and Nigel Dragon from Swanage Salvation Army were amongst those paying tribute to the many ways he supported the S.A. and the community.

See message below ... please do come and join us in thanking Graham for all he's done as part of his long time in the Salvation Army.

Graham Warburton is a well-known character in Swanage, who has sold the War Cry and Kids Alive outside our offices for many years and is already missed.

A special church service is to be held at the Swanage Methodist Church this Sunday, 25th January, at 10:30 am to pay tribute to him. All welcome.

We miss him dearly and thank him for his service over these many years.
