Just a reminder that GRIT is back tomorrow evening.

A relaxed space for men to come together, have a brew, chat about life, and support one another. No pressure to speak, no judgement, and no expectations.

Please join us on Sunday 31st May at 11am at Christ Church Linton and Castle Gresley for our Joint Benefice Service of Holy Communion led by Revd Vic.

If a month has a fifth Sunday, then a joint service is held at one of the eight churches in the benefice. Revd Derek is Priest in Charge of all eight churches ( a very difficult task) and we are extremely grateful to others who also lead church services, whether clergy (including retired clergy) or laity. They are greatly appreciated! 🙏

We look forward to welcoming friends from Lullington, Netherseal, Croxall, Overseal, Walton-on-Trent, Rosliston and Coton in the Elms on Sunday.

Come along to the Coffee Morning at the Brick Room, Main Street, Linton between 10am and 12 noon every Monday. A hot drink and biscuit for £1.50 and a refill of a hot drink for £1.

On 2nd Monday of every month ( so ……. Monday 11th May) you can also have a bacon or sausage sandwich (or beans or tomatoes on toast) plus a hot drink for £3.50. Very good value and all proceeds go to church funds as a small group of people very generously donate all the food, coffee, tea etc. 😄

Every Monday, there is a Coffee Morning at the Brick Room, Linton between 10am and 12 noon. Everyone and all ages very welcome.

A hot drink plus a biscuit is £1.50, refill of hot drink for £1 and toast is 30p per slice. Such good value! 😀

On the 2nd Monday of every month (next one is Monday 11th May) there is an extra offer of a sausage or bacon sandwich plus a hot drink for £3.50. This has proved to be really popular.

Every penny taken is for church funds and we are extremely grateful to the small team of people who buy the required food and drink supplies themselves ( and give up their time so readily every week). We do appreciate them! 🌟
