Good evening to all,

Just lately I have quite a few private messages regarding the church & hall & while I am happy to answer any questions or post memories, the church actually closed 'for good' in October 2019.

I now believe it has opened as a community hub & the person you would need to contact regarding this is Mike Redshaw who should be able to help you with the hiring of either/both buildings 🙂

*Announcement*

It is with a heavy heart & much sadness that Rowland Memorial Methodist Church will be holding its last ever service on Sunday October 6th at 3pm.

The decision has not come about lightly, however, with the amount of members we currently have it is difficult to carry on with both, positions required within the Church to keep it going & the finances to support both buildings.

Therefore, we would love anyone who used to attend Rowland Memorial, is a current member or members of the wider community joins us in a Celebration of Ministry & Mission in James Street as we close the doors for the final time.

If you can cast your mind back to when Joshua was selling cakes as part of his school's 100 years celebrations (April 2017) & to help raise funds to build a school in Nepal, well here's the finished results! 😍

Another wonderful night being entertained by the Breakaway Singers. Lots of laughs along the way & plenty of songs sung along to.

Don't leave it another year!
