Church Gresley Methodist Church

Church Gresley Methodist Church Church Gresley Methodist Church aims to serve the Church Gresley area in a spiritual and practical way. Morning Service is 10.30am every Sunday. All are welcome.

We have a wide range of events at the Church throughout the year. The following Church Services are held each Sunday:
Morning Worship is known as 'Good Morning God' and is a relaxed style of worship held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays a more traditional service known as 'Morning Praise' is held. If there is a 5th Sunday in the month then this a service when we

try 'Something Different'. All morning services are at 10.30am. Evening Services are held on the 1st and 3rd of each month at 6.00pm and have a more traditional style. We run a number of clubs for children and young adults, more details to follow, and the Church is used as a venue for a number of organisations including The Leaside Singers choir, Slimming World and others.

CONNECTIONS GROUP

A lovely time was had by all as we met for lunch today . The food was excellent as always when we meet at Sweet Caroline’s in Sharpes Pottery.
The conversation and fellowship was great amongst our group . It was suggested that we should meet for lunch more often. I’m planning to have a movie 🍿 afternoon at my house on Wednesday 1st July as well . So if anyone is interested just let me know . We continue to enjoy our group and the lovely sunshine we have been having . Our next Connections Group is on Wednesday 17th June 1pm - 3pm . We look forward to seeing you then 👍😄

A great service today led by Manoa and refreshments after the service . The lovely Mark Chandler provided ice-cream cones for everyone. We were all thankful for today’s beautiful weather . We are all truly blessed ❤️🙏🏼☀️🍦

We ended our service today with the planting of two new trees. We also dedicated the garden to our friend Jean who nurtured and donated many of our plants. Jean was pleased to share in the service and see her plaque ‘Jean’s garden’ Brian’s bench now also has a plaque in pride of place! We thank all those who have helped in any way to make this area special. Members of the congregation placed prayer stones with words of hope around the trees.
The theme of the service was ‘Listen to Gods voice’ the garden is now a quiet place of reflection to be able to do so.
