✝️ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀. 𝗢𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

People have plenty of opinions about Jesus.

Some say He was a good teacher. Others dismiss Him completely. Some grew up hearing about Him but have never really known Him. Others once followed Him, but somewhere along the way faith became distant.

The invitation of the Gospel is much bigger than simply knowing about Jesus.

It is to know Him.

Every Sunday at Ark Community Church, we gather around Jesus. We worship Him, pray together, open the Bible and hear the Word of God because we believe He is still speaking, still saving, still restoring, and still changing lives.

You're invited to come and discover that for yourself.

You don’t need to have everything worked out before you walk through the door. You don’t need a church background or a perfectly formed faith. If you are searching, questioning, returning, or simply wondering whether there might be more to Jesus than you have previously thought, come and hear His Word for yourself.

If you already follow Jesus, don’t underestimate the importance of gathering with God’s people. We need the Word. We need worship. We need prayer. We need one another. Faith was never designed to be lived at a distance from the family of God.

So this Sunday, gather with us.

Come ready to worship. Come ready to listen. Come ready to encounter Jesus.

Because Christianity is not ultimately about what somebody else told you about Him.

It is about knowing Jesus for yourself.

🍂 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗸.

September often brings change. A new school year, new routines, fresh starts and the sense that another season is beginning.

📖 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱.

At 7:30pm, Ark Community Church gathers in person and online to read the Bible together, ask questions, dig deeper and discover what God is saying through His Word.

The Bible was never meant to sit unopened on a shelf. It teaches us who God is, reveals Jesus to us, shapes the way we live and gives us truth to build our lives upon, and there is something powerful about studying it together as a church family.

We learn from one another. We wrestle with the text together. We encourage each other. We make room for questions. Most importantly, we keep bringing our lives back under the truth of God’s Word.

You don’t have to know the Bible inside out to come either.

If you’re not yet a Christian, perhaps you’ve wondered what the Bible actually says, who Jesus really is, or why Christians believe what they believe. Tonight is a great opportunity to open the Bible and discover it for yourself in a relaxed setting alongside people who are learning and growing too.

🙏 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿.

Every Wednesday from 9:00am–10:00am, we gather for Power Hour, an hour set aside to seek God together and pray for the things that matter deeply to us.

We pray for our community here in Sutton Coldfield, for the people, families, schools, businesses, local government and needs around us.

We pray for Ark Community Church, that we would continue to grow in faith, reach people with the Gospel and faithfully follow where God is leading us. And we pray for our nation, asking God for wisdom, mercy, justice, peace and a fresh turning towards Him.

The Bible tells us:

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests… always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” - Ephesians 6:18

Prayer is not simply something we add to church life. It is part of how we stand together, listen to God, carry one another and believe for His kingdom to come in the places where we live.

So whether Ark is already your church home, you live locally and want to pray for Sutton Coldfield, or you simply know there are things in your life and our nation that need God’s help, you are warmly invited to join us.
