We are a passionate group of Christians who believe that God loves community. We aim to make anyone feel welcome as part of our church family.

Our goals are to GROW in relationship to God and one another, to SEEK the lost and to SERVE the needy. We believe that God has transformed our lives and want to be a people who make a difference wherever we go and whatever we do.

Come along to GRAPEVINE at Ark Community Church.

Every Wednesday morning, we put the kettle on and open the doors for a couple of hours of coffee, conversation, friendship and community.

Perhaps you work from home and fancy getting out for an hour. Maybe you’re new to Sutton Coldfield. You might live locally and simply enjoy meeting people, or perhaps Wednesday morning has a bit of space in it.

Whatever brings you through the door, you’re welcome at the table.

You don’t have to attend Ark. You don’t have to be a Christian. You don’t need an invitation from somebody who does.

Prayer is not the warm-up to what God does, prayer is part of the work.

So every Wednesday morning at Ark Community Church, we gather to pray, not just for ourselves, but for the place God has put us in and the people who call it home.

We want to see Jesus changing lives across Sutton Coldfield and the wider West Midlands.

We want to see people find hope, freedom, healing, purpose and new life in Him.

We believe that means becoming a people who are serious about prayer.

Looking for meaningful Tuesday opportunities for an adult with learning disabilities? Stepping Stones Projects, Sutton Coldfield is the place to be!

At Stepping Stones, adults with learning disabilities are given space to try, learn, contribute, build confidence and grow in independence, all while enjoying genuine community along the way.

Every Tuesday brings something different: creative activities, keep fit, practical skills, conversation, laughter and plenty of opportunities to discover what each person can do.

That’s the heart of Stepping Stones.

Not simply filling time.

Creating opportunity. Building confidence. Encouraging independence.

Founded in 2005, Stepping Stones has been part of the Sutton Coldfield community for more than 20 years and continues to make a real difference for adults with learning disabilities and their families.

Sutton Coldfield: What are you doing Sunday morning?

If the answer is “nothing much”, come and spend a couple of hours with us at Ark.

You don’t need a reason. You don’t need a church background. You don’t need to know anyone before you arrive.

Just come.

Come with the kids. Come with a friend. Come on your own. Come because you’re new to the area, because you’d like to meet some people, because somebody invited you, or simply because you’ve driven past Ark a hundred times and wondered what actually happens inside.

We’re a community of ordinary people who love God, love being together and believe Jesus has something to say to real life.

There’ll be worship, a message from the Bible, plenty of friendly faces and time to connect afterwards.

If Jesus isn’t part of your world at the moment, that’s okay too. Come and hear about Him for yourself.

What if there was more waiting for you than simply getting through another week?

Life at Ark is made up of ordinary people sharing life together.

There are Sundays filled with worship and the Word of God, but there are also meals around tables, cups of coffee that turn into long conversations, people praying for one another, children growing up surrounded by people who know their names, friendships being formed, laughter, serving our community and plenty of reasons to gather together.

It’s family, it’s fellowship, it’s community, and running through all of it is a deep love for God and a belief that people matter to Him.

That means you matter to Him.

At Ark, our heart isn’t simply to fill a building on a Sunday. We want to see people across Sutton Coldfield discover who they were created to be and begin walking in their God-given purpose.

Not just the people who already call themselves Christians. Everyone.

The person who has never been to church, the person who has questions about God, the person who thought faith wasn’t for them, the family looking for community, the person who feels like there must be more to life but hasn’t worked out what that “more” is yet.

Here’s what we want you to know:

God loves you.
God likes you.
God wants you.

Jesus invites us into a life that is bigger than simply living for ourselves, a life of relationship with God, purpose, belonging, serving others and walking alongside people who become family.

That’s the life we’re building together at Ark, and there’s room in it for you.

So if you’ve been watching from a distance, following our posts, driving past the building or wondering what it might be like to walk through the doors…

consider this your invitation to step in. Come and meet us.

Perhaps you've passed us in Mere Green and wondered what goes on behind the doors. Maybe church was something you did as a child, or perhaps it's never been your thing at all.

This Sunday, our Assistant Pastor, Lynn Jennings, will be bringing a message from the Bible, and we'd love you to join us.

We love Jesus at Ark. We believe He's worth knowing, that His words are still as relevant to life now as they were 2,000 years ago, and that getting to know Him can change everything.

But we'd much rather invite you in to discover that for yourself than try to convince you in a Facebook post!

So, if you've been curious about church, you're exploring faith, you already follow Jesus, or you simply fancy spending Sunday morning with some friendly local people, come along.

Bring the family, bring a mate, or come on your own. There's a warm welcome, people to get to know and, most importantly, an opportunity to hear more about Jesus.

There's always something to talk about at TIME TO TALK, our weekly English conversation gathering at Ark Community Church.

Created with our local Cantonese-speaking community in mind, Time to Talk brings people together to enjoy conversation, practice spoken English, exchange experiences and meet others from across Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding area.

Whether you're confident speaking English or would simply welcome more opportunities to practise, you'll find a relaxed, friendly group where everyone has something to contribute.

No pressure to get every word right. Just come along, join the conversation and enjoy the company!

Little ones don't need an excuse to play (and grown-ups shouldn't need one to get together either).

That's why we love Thursday mornings at FUN FACTORY, Ark Community Church!

If you've got a little one aged 0–4, we'd love you to join us for a couple of hours filled with play, new discoveries, friendly faces and plenty of opportunities for those little imaginations to run wild.

While the children are busy enjoying themselves with our lovely team on hand, there's time for parents, grandparents, carers, and guardians to connect, have a conversation and enjoy the company of other local families.

Perhaps you've been meaning to try a new toddler group, would love to meet a few more people in Sutton Coldfield, or you're simply looking for something fun to enjoy with your little one. Whatever brings you along, we'd be delighted to welcome you.

Every Tuesday, we open our doors to adults with learning disabilities for four hours of friendship, encouragement, laughter and meaningful activities that offer something to take into everyday life.

From getting creative and keeping active to sharing ideas, learning practical skills and discovering new abilities, Stepping Stones is about giving people opportunities to participate, contribute and grow in independence at their own pace.

There's plenty of fun along the way!

First established in 2005, Stepping Stones has become a precious part of Ark's community outreach, with a heart for recognising the value of every individual and making sure everyone has an opportunity to shine.
