The Gap - Midlands Engaging with, investing in and empowering young people. We open 15:30 - 17:30 Monday, Wednesday and Friday, excluding bank holidays. OutThere!

The Gap's mission is to engage with young people, identify their needs, invest time and resources in order to empower them to be the best of themselves in their lives. We hold a "drop-in" after school or college called The Venue on Trinity Hill, up past Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church and at the end of the top car park on the left. At the Venue you can chill and hang out in our 'lounge' atmosphere...we have air hockey, basketball, card games, darts board, recording studio for music, podcasts or songs, table tennis, Xbox, as well as our 'flagship' Hot Chocolate Mountain and much more! is our detached youth work in and around Gracechurch Shopping Centre. HeadSpace is our schools and college project, delivering assemblies, workshops and one to one mentoring using qualified mentors. Like our page and come visit us. Looking for free activities to keep young people busy this summer? We’ve got something for everyone! 🌳⚽🎨

✨ Out There – Detached youth sessions in Sutton Parade.

✨ Venue – Drop-in sessions in Sutton.

✨ Year 6 Sessions – A chance for pupils moving up to secondary school to meet new people and build confidence. Booking is required via our website.

✨ Gap in the Park – Meet us at Sutton Park Town Gate for loads of fun activities, games and sports!

All sessions are FREE to attend!

Your support helps us create safe spaces, provide resources, fund mentoring sessions, and support young people when they need it most. From a warm hot chocolate at drop-ins to life-changing one-to-one support — every donation counts.

💷 £5 a month = hot chocolate supplies
🎮 £10 a month = games & resources
🧠 £35 a month = a funded Headspace session
🤝 £120 a month = supports a staffed drop-in for 10–15 young people

Happy Palm Sunday Everyone!

Tomorrow marks the start of our Easter activities and we are kicking off the fun with an Arts day. These activities are all FREE and will be taking place at Trinity Hill in Sutton Coldfield. Open to all 12-18 year olds.

We’ve got a range of sessions running from 3:30–5:30pm, including:
🎨 Arts Workshop
🏓 Sports Tournaments (pool, air hockey & table tennis)
🍫 Baking Workshop (Rocky Road making!)
🎲 Competitive Team Games

We will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Bring your friends and come hang out, get creative, and have some fun! We’d love to see you there!
