Come and have some fun at the Skittles Evening with fish & chip supper, Saturday 12 September, starting at 6.30 sharp, in the Scout hut, behind St James Church Centre. Tickets are £14 and £8.50 for children, available at the Church Centre.

Well what a joy this morning was! ❤️

This morning, churches from across Four Oaks came together to prayer walk our communities. We walked, talked, prayed and visited each of the churches along the way. We had a great time praying for all those who live in our area and we got great weather too! ☀️

Birmingham Heritage Week - open church. If you've ever walked past and wondered what it's like inside, come and have a look. Thursday 17 September, 10am - 3pm

Amazing stained glass, information about local families in the two World Wars and a warm welcome, including free tea and coffee.

Thanks to our new friends at Here Comes The Strum for a very entertaining concert today. We're so pleased that you enjoyed the lovely acoustic of our church building and look forward to seeing you again soon. We had fun singing along and just over £90 was donated for charities supported by Here Comes The Strum.

Stillness is an excellent spiritual practice, even when it has to happen in the midst of busyness. We can take some slow breaths, put our hand on our heart, and give ourselves a moment of grace.

September offers a gentle invitation to slow down. We can surrender what lies beyond our control, become present to the grace within this moment, and notice the goodness of God that busyness often hides.
