God's is painting in the most glorious colours and smells of creation today. If you have time, do come and walk up to the front door of church and share in all the goodness of creation. You might like to come up the steps and spend some time in the peace of church. We'll be open from 6pm for contemplation and for any questions you might have about faith.

Some of us watched the livestream from York Minster when Rick Simpson was made a bishop. Tomorrow, he will take his seat at Durham Cathedral, which really marks the start of his public ministry as our Bishop of Durham. If you would like to watch, the link is here.

Holy Week

It has been such a joy to welcome pupils from several of our local schools to St Nicholas’ to learn about Easter. The church is open 6.00-7.00pm each evening this week, Monday to Thursday, for anyone to come along and experience the different stations around the church, that help us walk with Jesus on the way of the cross.

If you come along one evening (or more!) there will be an (optional) 5-minute reflection in the Lady Chapel, but otherwise the time and space is yours for your own thoughts and prayers.
