My role is changing. As of Friday, I will be working for Northern Synod.

But, Roker, please don't worry, you are still my priority, and I'm currently working on an event on 13th June with Roker Life Social Chef and Friends of the Drop In - Sunderland, and a Messy Church 🫟, probably 28th June.

And don't forget, there are still a few of left on our railings, waiting for a good home.

may have officially come to an end, but as long as there remains gifts on our railings, we're going to keep encouraging anyone who walks past to take a gift, and even, maybe, leave us a message.

The Worry Worms have shown up on our railings as part of week. These are great for any kids who may be anxious, or neurodivergent

We've also had some glittery additions from Gateshead College.

All our gifts are free, and designed to bring hope and make you smile.

There are even some little cards if you want to leave us a message.

Our "The Wind, the Fire, and the Helper" 💨🔥👫👬👭 Pentecost Messy Church🫟 prep is well underway, with help from some amazing criminology and policing students from Gateshead College 👩‍🎓. How cool is this!

I'm currently planning a diorama competition, 🏆 and a treasure hunt 🪙, and the interactive story is written. 📰

Some messages from the public in response to our activity, as well as our wonderful toddlers and parents, grandparents and carers adding about another 20 gifts onto our railings, after another sizeable contribution from Social Chef Food Social, yesterday, and Midweek Movers last week.

We're so happy this little idea is making people smile, and spreading joy, hope, and love through our local community.

We'll keep adding throughout the week, and you keep sending us messages.
