No pressure, no expectations, just a chance to come together and get to know each other respectfully in a safe space. This is the face of somebody who’s just stood/played in the rain for a few hours. Apparently we do crazy things for stuff we love and we know I love football! Most sensible people would have stayed indoors or at least found shelter but nope there I was on a pitch on a Sunday morning in the rain watching others or playing myself, fully exposed to the elements! I’d even stupidly had a shower and ‘done’ my hair that morning, not that you can tell in this pic!!! Life has a habit of putting us in places and situations we don’t expect and which we haven’t planned for but sometimes these can work out to be the best times. Yeah my hair was ruined and I may have caught hypothermia or something but I actually had a great time. Remember things aren’t always what it seems so remember to take time and to dance in the rain!
