MESSAGE FROM THE AREA ON A SPECIAL EVENT......

As our merger between the East Durham and Chester-le-Street circuits is going ahead on 1st September 2026 and we will then become Hope Circuit, we are having some celebration events as detailed below and would be grateful if you could please circulate this information.


The arrangements for the circuits merger celebration weekend are as follows:

Friday, 4th September 2026 at 7:00pm: A quiz and social event at Great Lumley Methodist Church, Front Street, Great Lumley, DH3 4JB.

Saturday, 5th September 2026 at 2:00pm: Celebration of merger service at Hetton-le-Hole Methodist Church, Union Street, Hetton le Hole, DH5 9HU. This will also be a welcome service for Deacon Ellie Griffin. The service will be followed by coffee, tea and biscuits.

All are welcome at the above events.
