We're looking forward to our next monthly service this coming Monday at 2:30pm. Join us for our service at 2:30pm and / or our coffee afternoon at 3:00pm.

We can't wait for our services over Holy Week and Easter in our parish. Here at St. Oswald's we have a service on Wednesday at 7:00pm.

Next week is the most important week in the Christian year as we remember Jesus' death and resurrection. Join us on Sunday 13th at 11am as well celebrate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. On Thursday 17th at 2pm we relive his last supper. And on Good Friday at 10am we have a service for the young (and young at heart) to think about Christ's death. We finish it all off on Easter Sunday at 11am.

We're glad to be celebrate Holy Week with our sister churches. There'll be a service at St. Oswald's on Wednesday 16th April at 7:00pm in this most important time in the Christian year.

Every year we look forward to keeping the holiest days of the Christian year. Our Maundy Thursday service is at 7:30pm, the most important service on Good Friday is at 3:00pm, the Easter Vigil is on Holy Saturday at 8:30pm, and our main Easter Day service is at 9:30am.

We're also glad to share some worship early in Holy Week with our sister churches, St Mary & St Peter's, Springwell, Sunderland and St. Oswald's Communicare Centre. We'll be having Evensong and Benediction at St. Mary's and St. Peter's on Palm Sunday (13th April), and shared services on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week.

We're looking forward to our next service on Monday at 2:30pm. We'll hear a story of people rushing to Jesus to ask for healing, so we will pray for God to heal those parts of our lives that need his presence. After our service do join us for coffee and cake.

Thank you to everyone who came to our monthly service and coffee afternoon today. We heard the story of Jesus calling his disciples by the Sea of Galilee and thought about what God's call on our own lives might be.

We're looking forward to our next monthly service in February. Keep an eye out on our page for details.

Still very exciting that our Sunday service has returned to St Thomas Church. Please do come and join us 11am. We're celebrating Jesus' baptism this week and we'll be thinking of what God has done for us through our own baptism.
