Biography
Adrian was born in Hatfield, Yorks in 1961, and after a five year stint in the army from the age of 16, he joined the prison service where he remained for 32 years.
After taking retirement at the age of fifty-five, he moved with his wife Jo to SW France where he has spent his time writing in the glorious surroundings of vineyards and sunflower fields. His first novel, High Risk, draws on his experiences in the prison service and follows the family of a young governor, Stephen Byfield. This is the first of a trilogy involving the Byfield family, the other two, Resolution and Between the Shadows, are now also available.
He now has several other novels published, all in the thriller/crime genre which draws both on his prison and armed forces experience.
Adrian served as both a Prison Officer and Governor in the Prison Service.
Adrian and Jo moved to Great Waldingfield 2 years ago, and are taking an active role in the village. Jo has recently joined the Benefice Church Choir.
