Are you a local artist, craftsman, or maker? We're looking for an exciting selection of stalls for our new Christmas Market!

Join us at St Laurence Church in the heart of Stroud, right next to Shambles Market for a festive weekend.

From jewellery to jam and everything in between, we want to hear from you! To create the best possible experience for both our visitors and traders, this is a curated market. We will carefully review all applications to ensure a diverse mix of products and makers.

Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November 2026
10:30 - 16:30

Could you help shape the financial future of St Laurence: Stroud Centre for Peace & the Arts?

Weโ€™re seeking an experienced finance professional to support our trustees, oversee financial reporting and planning, and help strengthen our financial management as we continue our exciting National Lottery Heritage Fund restoration project.

This is a unique opportunity to use your professional skills to support a historic church at the heart of Stroudโ€™s community, culture and heritage.

Weโ€™re looking for someone who:
โœ”๏ธ Is a qualified accountant
โœ”๏ธ Has senior finance experience (Charity FD/CFO or equivalent)
โœ”๏ธ Understands charity finance, grants and governance
โœ”๏ธ Can communicate clearly with trustees and support strategic decision-making

12-month interim appointment
Based at St Laurence Church, Stroud
Start: By early September 2026 (earlier if possible)
Remuneration to be discussed.

Sessions include a gentle form of reflective yoga, sacred texts & the opportunity to rest in your true nature. No experience is required.
