What a beautiful evening we had for the Rogation Mass. The sun lit up the barn, the cattle joined in with their 'moos', the lambs bleated, the horses 'neighed' and the peacocks called out to us, loudly! Fr. Eugene reminded us of the vital work done on farms to provide food, and care for the land. After Mass we enjoyed an array of food and drink as the hot sun went down. Her are a few pictures.

UPDATE - CORRECT POSTER BELOW.
Many of you will know that for many years we have celebrated a Rogation Mass in a barn at Rowland Blackwell's farm. This year, Fr. Eugene will say the Mass, bless the animals and land and we will all enjoy a bring and share supper, hopefully on a nice warm sunny evening 🤞🙏 It will take place on Tuesday 26th - see the poster for all details and directions. Everyone is welcome from our joint parishes, as well as our Churches Together friends.

This Thursday is Ascension Day, a Holy Day of Obligation. There will be a vigil Mass at Woodchester on Wednesday evening at 7pm, with other Masses as shown in the Newsletter below.

Notices from Churches Together in Nailsworth.
As usual some members will take part in the monthly Peace Vigil which takes place at the Clock Tower by the roundabout in Nailsworth, tonight at 5pm. See the poster in our church porch.
Also, for Christian Aid week, Christ Church are organising a Jigsaw Swap and also having a Cream Tea on Saturday 17th May at their church rooms in Newmarket Road, between 2 and 4pm. Everyone is welcome.
