Huge (and we mean huge) thanks to All Faiths PFA for the pumpkin donation. We attacked it yesterday ahead of pumpkin soup for our free lunch this week, but we've only needed half for today so the rest has been frozen ready for root veg at Christmas.

The toys and mats have gone away...

What shall we do for tea and tots
We must seek hard to find the lot.

So come at 10am, if you're under 5,
Help find our toys and much more besides.

1st Sunday of the Month saw Family Church at Strood SA. Focusing on letting go and letting God.

We had prayer stations that covered: leaving our burdens...the rocks in our pockets with God; allowing God's presence to wash our burdens away; planting bulbs to remind us of the importance of caring for each other, with plant sticks with names on to pray for; holding a nail/pin in our hands whilst thinking of the mistakes we make - that Jesus took to the cross in our place, and seeking to be more Christlike; taking a moment in the busyness of the day to breathe, to look at the cross and find times of worship even if it means putting on headphones and stepping out for a moment. The last station was one where we learned how to make a tea bowl out of clay... Remembering that God made us, he created us and loves us, may we strive that people can see and feel His presence when they meet us.... I give my life to the potters hand.

Tomorrow Film Clubs are BACK. The Kids movie will have them hopping around. Whilst Film with Friends in the Evening, we will be inspired by sheep who investigate far more than the grass they're eating.

Tony not only works with the Friends of Hoo and Friends of Broomhill, he also works tirelessly with the community at The Salvation Army Strood and we really appreciate him and his time. Well done and thank youTony you're a legend.

Tuesday is always busy here at Strood The Salvation Army Strood... Bible study and the prayer powerhouse are already well underway, whilst in the kitchen everything is being prepared for our Community Free Lunch at 1230.

Then this afternoon following lunch we have CAMEO with the opportunity to make something lovely with coloured sand.

After school at 4pm we've got JAM and we're starting our Explore it series on all things environmental. With plant pots to decorate and fill amongst other things, don't miss it.

There's something for everyone so come along and meet each other . 1st Medway Towns Scout Group Salvation Army Children and Youth All Faiths PFA

It's that time of year again... bag a Bargain is this morning. Buy a bag for £1 and fill it. We've got a lot of school uniform including some names for various schools so why not pop along to Gun Lane 10.30 and bag a bargain..
