Please come along to our SOUP AND SANDWICH LUNCH this Wednesday in the Kirk Hall, from 12-2pm, a great way to support the Kirk and get you into Stromness for the start of Shopping Week! There will be homebakes, a raffle and we also have a great selection of secondhand books available by donation.
There will also be soup and sandwich lunches available on the Thursday and Friday too😋

THANK YOU to everyone who donated to, helped at, and supported our book and bake sale on Saturday to raise funds for Christian Aid. An excellent total of £572.26 was raised. In addition, our envelopes and online donations came to £385 so a total of £957.26 will go to Christian Aid this year. Part of this also qualifies for Gift Aid so this will all make a real difference for families who need it the most👏

This Christian Aid Week, Stromness Church of Scotland want to help fund lasting change.Parents like Fridah are growing food in small city spaces so their children can eat. With tools, seeds and training, families can plan for the future. Please give what you can this Christian Aid Week.

Orkney Pilgrimage is delighted to host the public launch of the Virtual St Magnus Way on April 16th, St Magnus Day. The event will be held in the St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall, starting at 7pm and is open to all.
The Virtual St Magnus Way is a truly innovative project which allows you to experience the wonderful Orkney landscape and wildlife along the St Magnus Way from the comfort of your own home. It will also give those unable to walk the Way an opportunity to explore the route and experience pilgrimage.
